They want us to tailor our recommendation for results right from the initial discussion. The majority of our clients also requested us to assist in implementation phase.

Our clients evaluate us based on three hard criteria: result, result, and result. They never (and should never) ask us to develop a nice blueprint that will never be implemented.

Therefore, we focus more on setting the building blocks and direction correctly. We must never advise unreasonable leaps or major restructuring that are excellent on paper but has low probability of success and dangerous to be made at the time. Having said that, we do advise some major leaps - those that are feasible and well within our clients' organization capabilities to execute.
