Developing New Marketing Approach for Small Business Banking
Background:
A major bank wished to grow its share in the small business market. Skha was assigned to develop 2 years Business Plan and assist execution in the first year.
Solution:
Skha proposed a new approach in penetrating the small business market, by breaking it down into three segments:
- Linkage Segment, to create collaboration with companies that has small business suppliers or distributors.
- Cluster Segment, to maximize sales in centralized small business cluster (such as marketplace)
- Mass Market Segment, to handle the scattered small business potential
Result:
We successfully assisted three partnership agreements: with a multinational telecommunication company, a leading national cellular operator, and Jakarta’s traditional market management, which brought significant loan applications and cross sell opportunities.
